Curved cross-armed bring the advantage of holding alot more yarn - you must however make sure to wind on lightly in the beginning in order to be able to pull the arms out.

A Plyer model, also lovely for spinning fat singles, long fibers, low twist fibers, or preparations that are more resistant to drafting. 

A labor of love, these are made with the desire to keep them light in proportion to their build for ease of a fast rotation.
The fine tip is great for quickly undoing the half hitch.
The double Copper Inlay helps with momentum.

Weight variations will depend on wood type and the shaft tip model (the chonkier the more weight) Variations can go up to 2g between the types, which is great!
