The shape on this spindle encourages a long lasting rotation and accompanies well drafting gestures once flicked - it's a feeling usually associated to heavier spindles, but at such a low weight you preserve the speed and can pack alot of yarn before reaching this spindle's limit.
As our woods are set with oils instead of varnish or lacquer, expect the cocobolo to age in colour as it's exposed to light and oxidizes. The last picture shows the final appearance of a 3 year old model as reference.

When Copper becomes blurry, it can be sanded using a 0000 steel wool (will not affect wood)
