The lotus model is my celebration of the reversability of the arms’ curve. When a spindle has a wider diameter, I personally enjoy the feel of the spindle’s pull when the arms are upwards and I love watching the cop shape in the ‘flower’.
A labor of love, these are made with the desire to keep them light in proportion to their build for ease of a fast rotation.
The fine tip is great for quickly undoing the half hitch.
The Copper Inlay helps with momentum.
Make sure to wind on lightly in the beginning in order to be able to pull the arms out.

The main arm has a copper centerpiece which allows for an even surface where the arms cross.The copper inlay is on both sides of the spindle to enjoy the reversability of this model.

Products are finished with Tung Oil, which can easily be found in hardware stores and is a food grade product.
Re-apply regularly to keep your wood and leather healthy and give depth to it’s colouring.
